We align ourselves with slow and circular design principles and strive to create thoughtful items that communicate a story of respect and care. We ensure that materials and supplies are sourced locally and only work with printers who use eco-friendly, non-toxic, water-based inks and energy saving equipment.
Our range is currently available in natural fabrics and fabric made from 100% recycled PET. To prevent wastage, we keep a few items in stock and have digital catalogues so that products are made to order on demand. Layouts for printing are meticulously planned to minimize offcuts and wastage.
Products are lovingly hand-sewn by us in our Stellenbosch studio and made to last. We have recently collaborated with a team of eight talented seamstresses from Somerset West to help us with larger orders. We are committed to an ethical and transparent growth process and take the responsibility to educate consumers to choose products that consider the health of our environment.
At CoralBloom Studio, we believe in creating products that stand the test of time. Our garments are crafted with meticulous attention to detail, using high-quality materials and unique pattern designs. With proper love and care, your CoralBloom product will last for many years. Each garment comes with care instructions on the back of the branded woven label sewn onto each garment, ensuring you know how to maintain its longevity.
Our 100% natural fabrics, including pure cotton, pure linen, and hemp-linen blends, are printed with eco-friendly pigment inks. To preserve the vibrant colors, we recommend cold hand washing. Over time, like a well-worn pair of jeans, the colors may soften and fade with frequent use and washing, adding character to your CoralBloom piece.
For our 100% recycled PET fabric, an eco-friendly synthetic fabric, we use non-toxic sublimation dyes. This fabric offers higher colorfastness and can be machine washed in cold or warm water. The colors will stay bright, and the fabric's texture will soften and relax with age, creating a unique charm.

Questions about shipping:
Within South Africa, economy shipping is R60 and delivered after 3–5 business days in transit. Express shipping is available for R120 with delivery in 1–3 business days. You’ll receive your tracking number as soon as your order ships.
As a smaller business, CoralBloom Studio does not have access to the bulk shipping rates that much larger companies do. Rather than raise prices on all our products to offer “free shipping,” we choose to leave the shipping charges transparent. As a way of saying thank you for larger orders (over the value of R1200) we do include free economy shipping within South Africa.
Please allow 1-2 business days for your order to be processed and shipped, then the full estimated delivery window for receipt. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Yes, you can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at our De Zalze Studio in Stellenbosch (Western Cape, South Africa).
After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 to 2 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions.
Yes, we are happy to ship outside of South Africa! Shipping may vary as we do not offer a flat rate, but you will be able to review the total cost before completing your order.
